Donated in May 2019.
This is Monoprices rebranded Wanhao Duplicator 6. Has the add on sides/top/doors, so ABS printing is a possibility(?), as well as other “exotic” filaments.
Upgrades/Modifications since receipt:
- Replaced hotend/nozzle with a Micro Swiss
- Printed a retaining clip for the extruder
Upgrades/Modifications needed:
- There is some kind of issue with the X/Y axis motion that occasionally screws up really bad (grinding sound, extruder gets way off-course and ruins the print
- Belts? Pulleys?
