Current Status: Needs some work/testing.
Chassis is rusty. Could probably use some interior cleaning.
4/4/2026 - I did give it a cursory look inside the chassis. Blew out loose dust, but still pretty dusty inside. Also adjusted the cooling fan mounting bracket, and spaced it off the chassis with a couple of washers to keep the fan blades from hitting the chassis.
Needs power cord changed up from whatever style it has(NEMA 6-50?) to what we now have in the building (L6-30 is the preferred plug per John K) - adapter cable from Amazon should be about $20-25. Power cord procured.
TODO:
- wire brush plugs/sockets for the stinger
- wire brush mains plug
- fire it up and test it
- Assuming it actually works, a paint job would be nice, as would some replacement sheet metal screws (many are rusty), and replacement feet (one of the four is pretty badly mangled).
