-There are currently several options for woodturning operations: 
-  *a Record Power lathe on loan from Steve. In good working condition 
-  *An old, DIY(?) wood lathe that no one has attempted to use 
-  *The [[Shopsmith Mark V]] can be used as a wood lathe, but we have not configured it as such (and may be missing parts needed to do so) 
-    * Needs a faceplate ($25-$30 from Shopsmith) 
-    * Tailstock is supposedly MT2 tapered, so we should be able to get a live center for fairly cheap 
  
-Additionally, we have a pen-turning mandrel for the Record Power lathe (or any other lathe with an MT1 taper)
