move_punchlist [2018/04/11 11:08] sdh7move_punchlist [2023/10/04 15:36] (current) – we finished the move some time ago, and something like 99% of these tasks have been done... sdh7
Line 1: Line 1:
-April 2018 - We are moving from The Dealership to IngenuityLabs at the Hamilton Collaborative.

-IMPORTANT:
-  * If you have big, unwieldy stuff that we don't have room for- MAKE IT GO AWAY. FOR REAL THIS TIME. It will either be given away or absorbed into the Hamilton Collaborative if you don't make it go away.
-
-Tasks remaining to be done:
-  * Contain things into containers
-  * <del>Disassemble shelves into whatever size needed for transport</del>
-  * Call scrap hauling guy to haul away total junk we don't want. (still a ways off...)
-
-4/10 PREP SESSION TO-DO LIST:
-  * <del>get scrap guy's business card out of the file cabinet so we can call him when this is over with.</del>
-  * <del>empty green cabinet</del>
-  * <del>empty metal stock from pallet rack</del>
-  * <del>disassemble pallet rack</del>
-  * <del>empty server racks</del>
-  * CLEAR ALL TABLES/BENCHES SO THEY CAN BE MOVED
-  * <del>continue packing up stuff</del>
-
-==PRIORITY OF STUFF TO MOVE==
-  * Shelving - It's all apart and will fit in a truck bed or two (or three?)
-  * Pallet Racks - Mostly apart at this point, will fit in a truck bed?
-  * Flat stock/pallet rack tops - if a truck bed will support 8' long material
-  * Benches (computer) - will probably require a trailer
-  * Benches (workbenches) - trailer?
-  * Tables (3) - will fit in a truck bed, I think
-  * server racks (2) - the black one probably requires a trailer. the gray one might go in a truck.
-  * green shelves(?)
-  * green cabinet
-  * bookshelf(?)
-  * workbenches
-  * refrigerator
-  * file cabinet
-  * other big things I've forgotten.
-  * Boxes & things - fairly low priority  if space remains in a vehicle, or vehicle can't take the big stuff, then by all means, but big stuff has the priority.
-
-Things that would be useful to have:
-  * Sturdy plastic tubs? liking [[https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-27-Gal-Storage-Tote-in-Black-HDX27GONLINE-5/205978361| these]]
-  * TARPS - looks like it's going to rain.
-  * bungee cords/rope/ratchet straps/etc.
-
-Things to do at Hamilton:
-  * Clean up debris in corner of pod. PPE suggested.
-  * <del>Use APC PDU to convert 240 to 120?</del> Double-check the specs, and it would likely need some kind of extension cord to access outlet on the ceiling (estimated budget for 30' cord - ~$100, probably a little under that)
-    * Probably not - Max voltage input on the "PDU" is 230V, service is 240v. If service was 208V we'd be in business.
-  * Replace fluorescent light with LED (budget: $40/each for 3200 Lumen units)
-    * Plan B- replace fluorescent tubes w/LED Drop-in replacements($7-10 each)
-  * Paint pod?
-  * pour concrete where the boards cover the void in the floor? Is that allowed?
-  * Run ethernet cable to Soulcraft router
-  * A stepstool/short ladder to reach shelf tops? We'll have to better utilize shelf top space - no more empty boxes lining the shelves if we can help it...
-  * Flooring? The floor in our pod is basically wood block. Cover it with something?
-
-Timeline:
-  * Tuesday, 4/10 - Prep Session
-  * Saturday, 4/14 - MOVE SESSION
-  * Sunday, 4/15 - MOVE SESSION
-  * Tuesday, 4/17 - Prep Session (anything left?)
-  * Saturday, 4/21 - MOVE SESSION? (someone else would have to run)
-  * Sunday, 4/22 - MOVE SESSION? (someone else would have to run)
-  * Monday, 4/23-Friday, 4/27 - Sam is available all week for whatever is left
-  * Saturday, 4/28 - Shaker Makers?
-  * Sunday, 4/29 - Anything left?
-  * Tuesday, 5/1 - Deadline for everything out
