Current Status: Functional, but could use work
In December 2015, we acquired a JET band saw from HGR.
Model Number: HVBS-56M
Blade Size: 1/2” x 0.025” x 64-1/2”
Belt size: A22 V Belt
Status: Mostly functional. Needs some work (see below). Currently sitting on a rolling bench, which has been good enough for our use.
Work needed:
- Replace blade - one on it is working for now
- Construct a stand for it and/or temporarily attach to existing bench
- A good cleaning & maintenance wouldn't hurt
Future modifications:
- Acquire/construct parts needed for vertical use? (table, and bracket to hold table in place)
