Requirements for a new potential space
Required:
- Minimum of x square feet (1,500? 2000?) (I think we have ~1000 right now)
- Plenty of 110V & 220V electricity (multiple circuits, lots of outlets, etc.)
- Ability to get 24/7 access for our members
- Zoning & conditions such that typical woodworking & metalworking can be done indoors
- Zoning & conditions such that welding, plasma cutting, and/or vehicle work could be done outdoors (i.e. no worse than we have it right now)
- Running water
- High-speed internet connection
- garage door/dock access (at least a fairly wide door)
Highly desirable, but not a deal-breaker:
- 3-phase power
- Zoning & conditions such that welding, plasma cutting, and/or vehicle work could be done indoors
- Ability to set our own access controls for new members to the space
- static IP(s) for self-hosted servers
- Access to kitchen facilities
Bonus requirements:
- compressed air lines
