=====New 3D Printer Project=====

A Project to build a custom 3D printer from parts a) at the space and/or b) readily available for cheap if necessary. This in part will build on our attempts to revive a dead Stratasys FDM2000 Printer

We have the following pieces:
  * XY stage from the scrapped [[FDM2000]]
  * A large quantity of stepper motors
  * linear bearings and rails of various types
  * RAMPS and RAMBo 3D printer control boards
  * Power supplies
  * Extruder parts
  * OpenBeam and other extrusion
  * [[Taig Micro Lathe]], [[MaxNC]] mill, and [[Monoprice MP Select Mini]] 3D printer with which to make any necessary custom parts

Add-ons that might be cool:
  * Ability to swap 3D printer head with a (2-3W) laser engraver head?
